The Friday Youth Program is a positive outlet for boys and girls to release their energy, learn pertinent Islamic knowledge, and build a strong sense of brotherhood and sisterhood. It is scheduled during a time when most youth are wasting away their time or even engaging in harmful activity. The time of the program fluctuates throughout the year because it is scheduled between Prayer timings to make it convenient for parents and more importantly to engage the youth that attend in at least two congregational Prayers. The current timing until Ramadan is from ‘Asr to Maghrib, with an option to stay after Maghrib for more physical activity for the middle school and high school boys. Anyone the age of 5 and above is welcome to attend. Youth may attend any given Friday with no commitment to future dates. There is no registration and the program is completely free. If you have any questions or would like to donate money for the food that is served please email nnajjar@ifsvp.org or call 630.941.8800 ext 2038.
