The Women’s and Social Affairs committee is one of the most active and long standing committees in Islamic Foundation. They conduct various social, religious, and interfaith activities at Islamic Foundation. In addition, this committee sponsors food & clothing drives and supports various charity events. 1. Annual Foundation Fair:
This family event happens every June encourages Community participation and spirit of volunteerism
2. Annual Foundation Dinner & Fund Raising Dinners
3. Annual Seerat-un-Nabi Program
4. Boutique Bazaar prior to Eid-ul-fitr and Eid-ul-Adha
5. Community Outreach
Liaison with Churches and other Islamic Centers promotes Interfaith activities
6. DuPage United
Participate in various community advantage related programs. Working effectively among differences, division and diversity.
7. Food Distribution to Poor
Supply food to poor,needy, and food pantries in neighborhood suburbs every month and during Ramadan and Eid-ul-Adha.
Host Health Clinics biannually. Monthly Blood Pressure, diabetes, asthma and obesity screening available at Islamic Foundation last sunday of every month
9. Senior’s Assistance Program
Help with Medicare and Public Aid Program
10. Ladies Luncheon
Annual lunch held for community women to update them on activiteis and take their feedback for further enhancements
11. Seminars and Lectures
Monthly series of informative lectures; on health, nutrition and other social topics.

13. 50+ club seniors program:
Monthly event held last sunday of every month. Program consists of discussions on social and health issues. Lunch Provided
14. Sunday Snack and Lunch Program
Snacks, Lunch and Beverages are sold to Sunday School Students.
15. Turkey & Gifts Distribution
Turkeys are distributed to the needy during Thanksgiving holidays and gifts during Christmas to the elderly at Nursing homes.
