Islamic Foundation Sunday School (IFSS)was established in 1974 and has been in operation for over 40 years. IFSS is one of the earliest weekend school established in North America by few eminent Islamic Scholars and academicians of Chicagoland area. IFSS focuses on imparting Islamic education in the areas of Islamic Studies, Quranic Studies and Tajweed. The school functions on Sundays between the months of September and May each year.
The school has been averaging an enrollment of 500+ students every year. The school has highly experienced and talented faculty of 30 teachers, 30 teaching assistants and 10 administrative staff. Islamic Foundation Sunday School has been serving the growing needs of young Muslims by imparting Islamic Education in a structured and disciplined environment.
Sunday School has classes ranging from Pre-K, KG, 1st grade through 11th grade to meet the needs of all age groups of school going children.
In 2020, Islamic Foundation Chairman, Br. Aftab Khan approved investments to acquire a solution that will make it convenient for parents to register their children online, communicate with teachers & administration and monitor child’s progress throughout the year.
We are proud to announce the launch of the digital transformation of our Sunday School, Management & Administration with a solution called Muntazim. Muntazim is a school management software solution.
